ESP - Electronic Statement Presentment
ESP covers all formatted documents except bills. These include, for example, bank statements, payslips, orders, order confirmations delivery notes etc.
In Europe, more than 100 billion standardised documents of this type, primarily paper-based, are exchanged between senders and recipients every year.
In business transactions, they mostly document upstream and downstream billing processes and are also generated or received by the same business applications. Due to the advanced stage, these statements are therefore being increasingly covered by EBPP and EIPP services.
